The CVM card validator is a compact device designed for efficient installation of ticketing systems on vehicles with limited space. In its economical version, the device acts as a “slave”, connecting to a “master” device or the driver’s terminal, removing the need for multiple standalone devices. Equipped with a readable display and capacitive keys for passenger interaction, the CVM supports contactless card standards such as Mifare, EMV contactless bank cards. The device can be equipped with a 2D code scanner and QR code reader for paper tickets and E-Tickets from smartphones. Validation is indicated by light and acoustic signals, and the device is designed to withstand dust and water sprays. Thanks to the compact onboard mounting support, CVM installation is easy, fast, and secure.
